The Brazoria County Library System consists of eleven libraries that support the various cities throughout the County with educational, informational, and recreational services. The libraries are located in the following cities: Alvin, Angleton, Brazoria, Clute, Danbury, Freeport, Lake Jackson, Manvel, Pearland, Sweeny, and West Columbia.

The Brazoria County Historical Museum is a library that collects, preserves, and, exhibits artifacts that relate to the County’s history. It is Located at the heart of Stephen F. Austin's Colony and also relates about the frontier experience that marked the American character. In addition, The Brazoria County Historical Museum has been awarded for exhibiting chronicles about the birth of the Austin Colony nation.
